Bircher Muesli

If you love a good, nutrient-packed breakfast that you can pre-make to save you tons of time in the morning, you are going to love my bircher muesli!

Makes: 3-4 portions


  1. 1.5 cup of rolled oats (I usually go for certified gluten free)

  2. 1 cup almond mylk (or your favorite version)

  3. ½ can coconut milk ( I choose the light version)

  4. 1/4 tsp ceylon/true/authentic cinnamon

  5. 1 granny smith apple, shredded

  6. 2 tbsp of tahini


  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl (oats, nuts and cinnamon)

  2. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mix (almond mylk, coconut milk, tahini and the shredded apple)

  3. Mix all together and place in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours, better if it stays overnight

When I’m ready to enjoy breakfast, I place a portion of the muesli in a bowl and top it with:

  1. 1 tsp of nut butter

  2. ½ fruit or cup: berries, mangoes, or peaches are my favorite

  3. 2 tbsp of greek yogurt if I want the extra protein
